Product Marketing Specialist – COS

Due to ongoing success and planned growth, we require a hands-on Product Marketing Specialist. Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will understand all things brand and product, from strategy to implementation and have a background working in similar online, B2B businesses.

We are looking for someone to take a lead role with hands on experience and responsible for a range of deliverables including creating strategic marketing plans, campaigns, and sales enablement materials.

• Working as part of the marketing team to support the vision and strategy as determined by the Marketing Manager
• Define product USP’s and develop brand positioning across multiple products
• Working hands on to develop marketing and product collateral including writing copy or working with design team to develop creative
• Devising and implementing channel marketing communications including web, social and direct marketing
• Ensuring all channel and product marketing activities are undertaken in line with corporate branding guidelines
• Working with the Category Managers for the communication of all product updates, range additions and/or new product introductions
• Working with all division’s relevant customer database records for CRM and digital marketing activity.
• Monitor market-trends and perform post campaign analysis

About You
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent
• Over 3 years’ experience in a marketing role
• Highly organised, quick learner, proactive, persistent, accurate and with a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• A creative thinker with a “doer” mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong project management capabilities
• Data-driven, using data to understand what’s working, what’s not and what to do next
• Intermediate level Adobe Suite proficiency preferred but not essential
• Experience in a retail and/or trade marketing environment preferred but not essential
• Motivated, driven and enthusiastic attitude
• A team player, always keen to assist where possible
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement
• High-level Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
