Project Manager

The Project Manager works within the Professional Services (PS) team and reports directly to the Head of Professional Services. This role will be involved during the sales cycle to estimate the span of work required, provide strategic and programmatic design of comprehensive transformation for customers moving from legacy platforms to Unified Communications. He/she will be assigned to a project depending on availability, skills and geographical location. He/she will apply the best practices to execute the projects in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead discussions with internal and external customers to define project scope, objectives, plans and strategies including milestones and deliverables that supports the agreed business case
• Manage multiple projects ensuring project scope, schedule, resources and outcome are within project milestone timeline and budget
• Manage procurement and delivery
• Resolve any issues which arise during the project and ensure timely project signoff to achieve customer satisfaction and deliverables
• Manage project financial
• Prepare Project Management Life Cycle documentation and review policies and processes regularly
• Develop project plans and project associated documentation following best practices
• Organize required workshops and follow-up meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Track issues and risks, and build appropriate contingency/mitigation plans and escalate when needed
• Assure that service acceptance activities are accomplished to allow invoicing
• Participate in Request for Proposal (RFP) / Request for Information (RIF)

Skills & Experience
• 6+ years of project management experience in mid-to-large scale UC and Network Transformation
• Experience in working on Large Enterprise Networks, Unified Communication or Security Base projects preferred.
• PMP or Prince 2 certification mandatory
• Ability to engage with varying audiences and relay information to all audience types, from technical, C-Suite Executive, senior Stakeholders, project teams, intermediate and beginner users.
• Demonstrates a strong drive for efficiency, resolving problems and getting the work done in a timely, quality-focused manner
• Able to build and nurture strong and lasting relationships both internally and externally
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Time management – well organized and able to multi-task
• Conflict Management – able to manage expectations and solve disputes or conflicts
• Problem management – ability to manage unexpected situations and proactively propose solutions
• Detailed oriented – meticulous and able to get down to details to resolve problem
