Public Relations Assistant

Seven Communications are searching for an outgoing, proactive graduate who is passionate about the field of public relations. The ideal candidate will be available full time and have recently completed their final year of a communications/media degree or equivalent.

Seven Communications is an independently owned integrated communications agency with an office in the heart of Sydney’s Surry Hills. The successful candidate will work across a range of leading global brands in tech, lifestyle and travel.

The successful applicant will be working closely with our Junior Publicist, learning the fundamental skills required at an entry-level position. As Seven Communications are passionate about providing hands on experience to those with an interest in PR and communications, our assistant will have the opportunity to assist on various projects as required.

Key responsibilities include:
· Assist in team brainstorms
· Assist with client admin duties such as media monitoring/reporting
. Office management
· Assist with desktop research as required
· Help research and draft press releases
· Event assistance as required

To be successful you must:
· Have a keen eye for detail
· Excellent written/verbal skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
· Be able to think outside the box
· Completed the final year of a media/communications degree (or equivalent)
· Be organised, enthusiastic, proactive and friendly
