Public Relations Manager

My client is Australia’s first neo-lender and the country’s fastest growing listed fin-tech. We need someone with a strong media network.

This is a unique opportunity for a mid-level communications professional to take on a rewarding integrated role with one of the country’s fastest growing fintech companies.

Your focus is working within a highly-motivated marketing team, delivering programs across media relations, investor relations and other communications programs – reporting directly to the company’s Chief Marketing Officer.

To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified, ideally with around 5 years of PR agency or in-house experience and you will be passionate about media relations, content creation and working with senior stakeholders throughout the business.

If you are an experienced media and communications specialist with a demonstrated history of success working in the financial services or technology industry, we want to hear from you.

Day-to-Day Duties:

– Deliver and maintain the media strategy for a fast growing purpose-led fintech
– Prepare press materials, investor materials and other forms of contents
– Nurture relationships with business, tech and consumer media on a range issues related to business growth, the fintech industry and financial wellness
– Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results on an ongoing basis
– Work alongside the CMO and other members of the marketing team to develop long-range and meaningful communications strategies
– Work with public relations agencies and assist them in getting the most out of our overall communications program

Skills Required:
– At least 5 years of experience working in a senior media relations position or similar
– Experience in fintech, business or technology industry would be highly valued
– Exceptional writing and editing skills
– Previous experience in an ASX-listed business and investor relations would similarly be desirable
– Highly developed sense of narrative and pitching story angles
– Data analysis and insight development
– Ability to adapt to changing business priorities
– Maintain high performance in a fast-paced work environment

Salary range: $80,000 to $110,000 + super + shares options and STI
