Publishing/Digital Media Sales – Business Development Role

This opportunity is with a leading Publishing and Content Sales agency.

They have put together a team of sales people, as they had recently acquired new mast heads to represent and they needed to beef up their sales resources to handle the increased business.

They are based in a newly refurbished office in the CBD as part of this ramp up and so this is a great time to be joining a company on the move in every sense.

The sales proposition is a blend of Print and Digital and sees you selling advertisers into “Special Features” in (for example) the West Australian, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Canberra Times etc etc.

This is a role for someone who likes to develop business, build relationships and close deals and is also capable of doing that over the phone.

The geographical spread of the client base makes the phone and email often the best way to do business and they are able to construct deals of all shapes, sizes and dollar values in this way.

There is some flexibility with the salary package based on your expertise, track record etc but as a rough guide it will be c$90-110k and you will make a percentage of all the revenue that you write.
