Senior Account Manager – Optus & Newscorp

Big Red Sydney

Whilst Melbourne has over 100 staff including strategy, creative, design, production and digital development, Big Red Sydney is a satellite office whose primary purpose is to maintain Sydney-based client relationships and liaise with the Melbourne team to make awesome things happen. A very hands on role, it will require the ability to work independently, be able to manage teams remotely, have excellent communication skills and be highly self motivated. The role requires periodic travel to Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:
• Actively manage client relationships to build trust with senior clients in the Optus and Newscorp businesses
• Working remotely but collaboratively with teams in Melbourne including Planning, Creative, Design, Digital Development, Animation and Film Production
• Working closely with the planning team to ensure insights are incorporated into responses for all creative briefs
• Managing workflow for retained resources and out-of-scope (where required)
• Identify opportunities for out-of-scope projects
• Managing the financial responsibilities for client campaigns

Key Competencies;
• Self-motivated & proactive
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and willing to adapt; happy to roll up their sleeves

Experience required;
• 4-6 years industry experience managing large scale end-to-end campaigns; including client service, strategic planning, briefing and production
• Experience working in a fast paced retail team
• Experience and/familiarity with agile ways of working
