Senior Brand Manager – Women’s by Nike

With continued focus and growth in the sport landscape and youth culture, an exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Brand Manager – Women’s by Nike to join the Nike Pacific Brand leadership team!

*** What will you be doing? ***

Reporting to the Brand Director of Nike Pacific, you will use your passion, entrepreneurial and proactive spirit to build an emotional connection with the youth consumer, understanding their relationship to sport and the brand.

You will leverage on this knowledge to make a meaningful difference to the business through athletes, communications and key moments, effectively driving brand performance, fueling consumer demand, strengthening our connection with our female consumers and contributing towards the delivery of overall Pacific business plans.

Key responsibilities include:
– Develop Women’s by Nike brand plans and lead the execution and communication of female focused cross-strategy and seasonal initiatives across Australia and NZ
– Partner with other marketing functions and cross-functional business teams to ensure programs are executed per category brand direction
– Play an integral role in the process of developing insights and observations on products, consumers, competitor activity and retail trends
– Drive best practice and category planning by leading the seasonal review process for all regional brand initiatives
– Lead the annual category budget planning process, working in conjunction with other marketing functional leads.

*** Who are we looking for? ***

Ideally you will have:
– A passion for the Brand/Sports and strong knowledge of the Athletic and Street Style industries
– A tertiary degree in Business, Marketing and/or related field preferred
– Previous relevant work experience in Consumer Marketing and/or related field
– A strong understanding of the respective competitive market, customers and retail trends
– Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and mentor others
– Evidence of business partnering experience and the ability to work effectively in a complex matrix environment, in the development and execution of marketing strategies
– Ability to use financial data, develop and execute policies and programs to achieve performance targets and maximise revenue, profits and sales opportunities
– A consumer-focused mindset, coupled with the ability to recognise creative & innovative business opportunities and translate insights & trends into actionable business plans
– Outstanding communication, influencing, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
– Solid organization, planning, project and budget management skills
– Proficiency in MS Office products.
