Senior Designer – Signage & Wayfinding. $90K – $110K+ Super

With at least five years’ experience in a design studio or architectural firm, you’ll have a folio demonstrating your work and designs across signage and wayfinding.

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and talented Designer for a highly respected Australia-wide Architectural firm. They work with world-class companies across corporate and sports environments, as well as residential and much, much more.

It is a highly collaborative environment within a planning and design framework. You must be able to take direction and feedback, enjoy open discussions and develop high quality, client-ready deliverables. With this experience behind you, you understand the importance of timelines and budgets and you’re able to handle the pressure and fast-pace with a calm, happy to help attitude. Your creative, left of centre ideas can only enhance the quality of work.

With a good understanding of the Australian Standards and BCA requirements, you’ll be developing strategies and designing sign location plans for built environments, interior and exterior wayfinding systems, and more. You have a great eye for detail and a lovely aesthetic, for beautiful design, colour, materials and production methods that work seamlessly and respectfully with the environment.

With outstanding verbal and written communication, you’re highly organised and passionate about creating memorable, effective and surprising concepts. Your energy, enthusiasm and great work ethic will be welcomed with open arms!

Here’s what you should be confident working with: Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); Experience in SketchUp, Auto CAD, Revit is a plus; Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher and PowerPoint.
