This position will support the Functions Business Development and Sales Manager by generating revenue through effective management of all reactive sales activities for function hire space as one of the first points of client contact for Sydney Opera House. Responsible for recording, managing and converting of all enquiries and assisting to provide a successful transition from the function sales department to the catering operator. The position is required to follow efficient department processes and procedures to ensure smooth integration and communication with internal stakeholders.

* Tertiary qualified or relevant industry experience
* An understanding of venue sales booking processes
* Proven function delivery knowledge
* Problem solving and conflict management skills
* Strong administration and time management capabilities
* Collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams
