Senior PR Executive + Storyteller

Filtered Media is looking for a Senior PR Executive to join its brand storytelling agency, supporting clients across a range of industries.

As the right candidate, you have at least 2 years’ experience in an agency environment. You’re looking to join an integrated agency with a strong sense of purpose and have a work ethic to match your big ambitions. An unrelenting eye for detail, an unquenchable thirst to learn, and a respect for process and systems will stand you in good stead.

You’ll support the Senior PR Manager and PR Director to generate and monitor coverage, create reports laden with results you’ve helped muster, manage social media communities for various clients, and keep our busy team humming.

Day-to-day, the Senior PR Executive is responsible for:
Media relations – developing media releases, pitches and materials; researching, writing, editing and collating engaging content; distributing media materials and maintaining media and influencer lists; preparing media send-out packs, materials and promotions.
Social media management – creating and posting content across all social platforms; engaging and managing social communities; managing competitions and giveaways; reporting on social data analytics and results.
Event support – assisting with event management including attendee coordination, supplier engagement, catering, and hands on support.
Account management support – attending meetings with clients, suppliers and internal teams to take action items and hold attendees accountable to follow-up; monitoring and reporting on daily coverage; maintaining WIP documents
Internal engagement – supporting the PR team as directed; participating in team activities, idea generation sessions and professional development opportunities.

To excel at the role, the Senior PR Executive must have:
Tertiary qualification in Media / Communications
2-3 years PR experience in an agency environment
Ability to produce content that has contributed to editorial coverage
Willingness to learn audio and visual content production skills
Exceptional organisational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Ability to work across multiple projects and deadlines
Curiosity and good listening skills
Permanent Australian residency status
