Senior Web Administrator

The Senior Web Administrator is to manage and maintain the function of critical hardware and software for the companies clients. They will monitor usage and performance, create and maintain backups and to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. Their work is highly independent and requires a specialist to manage and maintain complex technical and business matters. The role requires a minimum of 7 years experience.As a Senior Web Administrator you are required to:

Develop end-to-end web solutions for clients using WordPress and WordPress based add-ons (such as e-commerce and page building technologies).
Manage client support, training and understanding of software and ongoing support if required.
Manage all aspects of SMB web hosting and maintenance platform. Includes deployment of websites, managing of staging environments, management of website configuration and ensuring upgrade and performance settings are enabled and fine tuned.
Ensure all client tickets are updated according to relevant procedures and client.
Provide phone and remote desktop support to clients for services provided by The Code Company. Typically this involves email configuration issues, password resets, WordPress and website backend support and FTP/Control Panel support.
Manage domain names, DNS settings and SSL Certificates where applicable. This includes their sales, management and renewal.
Gather requirements from existing clients for new projects.
Provide ad hoc support as needed to other TCC team members regarding web management issues.

As a Senior Web Administrator you are authorised to:

Complete tickets and resolve issues that are raised by the client without review or escalation to the Managing Director or Technical Manager.
Discuss technical solutions, ticket/tasks estimates and ticket/tasks priorities with the clients as needed.
