What is Connecting Plots?

Connecting Plots is a planning-led creative communications agency, where a nimble production spirit, combines with big agency thinking & marketing science so that we both think and do things differently.

Background to us:

Our company is on a mission to ‘crack the agency model of the future’. Why’s that you ask? Because we believe in today’s world, brands must continually future proof themselves if they’re to survive and stay relevant. And for this to happen… our industry needs to pivot. The Role:

As the Social & Content Manager of Connecting Plots your role will be both planning and keeping our clients’ social channels and campaigns running smoothly.

You understand how fast the world of digital and social evolves and keep your finger on the pulse with technical developments like platforms updates and trends, as well as cultural changes in terms of how people are using social, be it Stories, Groups or the latest meme.

You understand that planning is a fundamental super power in our business and one that’s

necessary to co-lead integrated work in a multi-channel, multi-asset world. You’re willing to roll

your sleeves up and muck in when needed and if something’s broken, you help fix it.

You bring the right mix of creativity, leadership, vision, inspiration, collaboration, and marketing

science to help us achieve our vision through the work we create.

You have a natural flare for big ideas, a keen eye for design, an empathy of earned attention

and a thirst to create the best shit out there for brands. You believe the success of our work lies in its effectiveness and how it exists in culture, not how it tracks in award shows.

General duties include, but are not limited to:

Content planning (both on a regular basis and for ad hoc opportunities)
Client liaison, including managing WIPs and writing contact reports
Project team coordination on timings, resource + responsibilities
Scoping & managing resource, tracking project budgets
Developing brand tone across social channels and helping out with some day to day community management when needed
Keeping an eye on competitor activity and brands and creators that are doing interesting things in social, as well as trending topics in Australia
Developing influencers campaigns including influencer identification, artist management and reporting
Monthly or quarterly reporting
