Social Media Manager

Brandalism is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our growing team in Surry Hills.

We’re a fast-paced content marketing and social media agency looking for a driven individual with a strong passion for and experienced understanding of everything social!

If you consider yourself a creative and solutions-driven individual and are just as comfortable thinking creatively as you are analysing results, then this is the role for you.

You will get to use your experience across all core aspects of social media and paid media marketing, across a range of clients. This includes everything from the conception of ideas and strategy, to the amplification and analysis of paid social.

The Social Media Manager will have:
– 4+ years of relevant experience working on content-driven social media channels within a marketing environment
– Extensive knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter to name a few
– A passion for developing cutting edge and finger of the pulse social strategies, and executing these!
– Extensive experience crafting killer paid social strategies with on-point sets and targeting, pixel implementation and awesome retargeting campaigns to close the loop
– Extensive experience running, managing and optimising A/B &/or multivariate tests
– The ability to manage social media budgets and stick to them
– The ability to develop cutting edge content that builds brand awareness, generates traffic and engages our diverse client audiences
– Ability to develop, maintain and execute a social media calendar (with their eyes closed)
– Experience deep-diving into campaign analytics to gather relevant insights for monthly, yearly and ad-hoc reporting
– The ability to identify ongoing improvements to digital content processes and work with the team to improve timeframes, workflow, etc
– Experience in social media crisis management

You will be able to:
– Feel comfortable operating independently in a fast-changing environment and with multiple teams relying on you
– Manage a team around you
– Think outside the box and demonstrate a fantastic mix of creative flair and analytical thought
– Navigate through applications and software such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Fanpage Karma and Smart Sheet
– Work in a fast-paced environment and thrive with change
– Demonstrate organisational and time management skills – the ability to see and manage business priorities
– Manage your time for multiple deadlines, across multiple clients, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment accordingly
– Complete tasks with high attention to detail
– Demonstrate high levels of written/verbal communication skills
– Bonus points for a sense of humour and being calm under pressure!
