About the company & role:

Our client is an integrated communications agency based in Melbourne. This agency works across a variety of industries with some of Australia’s most recognised companies. They have a new opportunity for a Social Media Strategist & Manager to join their team. This position is very heavily focused on Social Strategy, Account Management, Social Media Advertising, Social Content Creation, Social Reporting and leading junior social team members.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly, positive and supportive environment on a permanent basis.

This agency really invests in their team, offering firm career progression plans! This role is reporting into one of the Senior Digital Managers and is essentially the go-to for the Social Media team servicing clients within the lifestyle, hospitality, retail and property industries.

This role is across end-to-end social media account campaign management, client liaison and looking after the social media coordinators within the team.

Responsibilities and Duties

To be successful in this position you will have the following skill-set:

– At least 3 years experience working in social media (preferably coming from an agency background)
– Strong account management skills
– You have been client-facing and can have consultative conversations with clients
– Proficient with Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn
– Highly proficient with Social Media Advertising experience (using Facebook Ads Manager) + reporting
– Experience looking after decent social media advertising budgets
– Social strategy and content creation
– Community Management experience
– Social Media scheduling and reporting
– Excellent communication skills
– Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite
– You have experience leading / mentoring junior social media staff
