Social Media Producer, Discovery Channel

Come work for the leading real-life entertainment TV brand, Discovery Channel, to bring our brand and great TV content to life on social media!

Do you enjoy real-life entertainment? Are you interested in what’s happening in the real world? Build a Discovery brand that Australians and New Zealanders connect with!

You’ll be responsible for content creation and the social media strategy and analytics for the Discovery Channel social media channels. We’re ambitious and want to build a social media presence that entertains, attracts and retain fans of the Discovery Channel brand.

The successful new team member will have:

Demonstrable experience in producing content for social media with great content creation skills
A love for TV and real-life entertainment and knowledge of the real-life issues that Australians and New Zealanders care about
Preferably, worked within the TV industry
Experience in Social Media Strategy and Analytics
The drive to be able to work under pressure and to a deadline
Experience in using industry standard photo, audio and video editing software.
Great stakeholder management skills as you’ll work with the Programming, Creative, Marketing and Publicity teams
Experience managing projects and content deliverables across national and local teams
As a contract position, you’ll need an ABN
