Software Training Consultant

Wellcom Worldwide is a global independent production agency, specialising in advertising content creation delivered through our proprietary SaaS technology. We have an extensive list of blue-chip clients in the retail, telecommunications, media, fashion, property and automotive industries. We are a fast growing and innovative business, delivering best-practice solutions for the marketing and advertising industry.

We are continuously looking for smart, driven professionals to join our company, to deliver training of our software solutions to a large and growing number of local and global customers.

Working as part of our Customer Success team our consultants, teach, train, implement, upgrade and support changes to our software solutions. As a training consultant with Wellcom, you will have the unique opportunity to combine your technical aptitude with direct customer engagement.

The role will be responsible for all SaaS training requirements, based on interactions directly with customers and professional service teams, and producing professional training material to deliver knowledge and understanding of the Wellcom SaaS technology stack.

Training Consultant Key Tasks:

– Learn new materials and develop curriculum to teach the information to a variety of audiences.
– Act as internal consultant to troubleshoot and resolve training problems.
– Obtain and analyse feedback and performance data through a variety of mechanisms.
– Create and update training databases and curriculum.
– Follow curriculum to train target audiences virtually and in person.

Requirements:

– Training experience and implementation of technology solutions.
– Understanding customer and business requirements.
– Developing and identifying training solutions to business problems.
– Define, analyse, and document requirement definitions.
– Oversee, and be accountable for, the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work.
– Managing requirements at project levels to fulfil business needs.
– Experience in detailed, functional design, with the ability to generate business case solutions.
– Customer relationship building.
– Knowledge of advertising and marketing industry.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct skills gap analyses
– Map out long-term training plans for internal teams
– Prepare educational material (e.g. design manuals and order books)
– Select educational methods, like on-the-job coaching, conferences, workshops and e-learning courses
– Schedule regular soft-skills development and management trainings
– Assess the impact of training on employee performance
– Liaise with external partners and outsource training, as needed
– Gather feedback from trainees and trainers after each session
– Prepare cost reports for each learning program
– Update curriculum database and training records

Skills/Qualifications:

– Strong social skills
– Knowledge and experience in training and curriculum design
– Minimum 3 years experience working in a client/customer facing role ideally with a software consulting, or cloud-based solutions organisation.
– Excellent time management and prioritising skills.
– Great passion for learning new solutions, technologies and an appetite to undertake new challenges.
– Self-motivated team player.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Experience of advertising and marketing industry.
