Student Recruitment & Marketing Coordinator

The Student Recruitment & Marketing Coordinator is a newly created role reporting to the Head of Marketing & Student Recruitment. You will play a critical role in the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) team, as Student Recruitment Specialist you will be responsible for:

• Prospecting, developing, following up leads and recruiting students across all courses from AFTRS Open short courses to Award degree courses.

• Direct marketing of AFTRS courses – from short to degree courses, to AFTRS databases and other identified target markets.

• Representing the School at careers fairs across the country, AFTRS Open Day, other student recruitment and experiential events

• Providing outstanding customer service, answering queries from prospective students and forwarding queries on to course specialists when required.

• Updating the schools CRM with appropriate information about prospective students to ensure seamless communications

• Working with the Head of Marketing & Student Recruitment to develop and implement communications processes

If you have the following attributes, we want to hear from you.

– Experience within sales or student recruitment roles within education, training or screen and arts environments
– Track record in achieving sales KPIs and delivering outstanding customer service
– Experience in effectively writing for different target markets
– Experience working with CRM systems, updating records, creating and analysing reports
– Good attention to detail and willingness to learn

Salary $60,204 – $62,870 plus excellent benefits package. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
