Video and Visual Assets Producer

There is an opportunity for a Video Producer / Visual Assets Library Executive to join the Tourism Australia. This position reports to the Studio Manager within the Marketing team and is responsible for developing video content and coordinating Tourism Australia’s library of visual assets and associated intellectual property to service all internal and external parties’ needs.

This is a hands-on role, ensuring that all library visual assets help make Australia the most desirable and memorable destination on earth.

With drive, motivation and energy, you will be responsible for delivering on the following:

A high standard video product from end to end including but not limited to taking briefs and editing;
Co-ordinate the development of high standard digitised travel and tourism media (still and moving images);
Co-ordinate the support of visual asset guidance to a range of stakeholders via regular documentation of projects in ‘job bag’;
Co-ordinate research, stock sourcing and copyright clearance for productions;
Co-ordinate with specialist processing houses to ensure production of footage compiles, loops, TVC’s and other resources are delivered on time and on budget;
Co-ordinate the cataloguing, uploading, and linking videos so they are retrievable through relevant digital platforms;
Co-ordinate digitisation of relevant film and tape as well as manage clip creation, uploading to online footage library, and ensure appropriate asset back up as required;
Support the roll out of a global digital asset management system;
Co-ordinate footage requirements and appropriate documentation for copyright, intellectual property and any related restrictions;
Co-ordinate the storage, back-up, maintenance and distribution of TA collections;
Co-ordinate the sourcing footage to supplement collections where required;
Co-ordinate with third parties to ensure a retrievable offsite archival storage is in place;
Collaborate with external industry stakeholders to ensure consistent policies, regular discussions and opportunities to work together are leveraged.

To deliver on the above, your resume will demonstrate the following:

Strong Adobe Creative Suite knowledge with a focus on Premiere Pro, After Effects and Rush;
Experience in high quality video, print and digital productions;
Strong English language skills (reading/writing and oral/aural);
Strong working knowledge of MS Office ;
Experience with MAC, PC OS as well as Virtual Machine/Fusion and other relevant related software solutions;
Experience with the management of technology systems used to store, manage and distribute visual assets i.e. Adobe;
Experience and understanding within copyright legislation;
Management of large-scale library image and video database

The icing on the cake (desired) but not essential:

Experience working in the tourism industry or Australian holiday destinations
Experience with Graphic Design
