The Job

We’re on the hunt for an Account Manager to join the VMO family in Sydney. As the Account Manager, no two days will ever be the same. On the one hand, you will be responsible for managing & developing a portfolio of clients and delivering efficient account management to achieve sales revenue. On the other hand, you’ll be responsible for marketing ideas through tactical responses to client’s needs, pitching & presenting, researching and analysis, mapping, sales reporting and staying ahead of our competitors.  Other key responsibilities include:

Management and growth of client relationships within the media landscape
Identification of opportunities to grow portfolio and optimise revenue
Proposing saleable solutions responding to client needs & satisfying objectives
Meeting & exceeding revenue targets; including personal targets and team targets
Development of quarterly plans that identify key properties, available commercial content and new technology developments to achieve budgets
Maintain and build client relationships, to increase investment and attract new clients
Immersing yourself in the industry by attending networking and social events

Previous experience in media with credible knowledge of the media landscape
Ability to develop and execute media strategies that identify potential client solutions and achieve client objectives
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must possess strong negotiation and persuasive skills
Motivated self-starter with the ability to integrate their personal style into a collaborative working environment
Results driven with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
