VMO Consumer Insights Coordinator

The Job
We’re looking for a Consumer Insights Coordinator to join one of the fastest growing Digital OOH providers in the market. This is a role for a passionate individual who has a curious mind and loves to understand the consumer mindset and uncover new insights in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is highly personable, self-sufficient and organised.

Reporting to the Research and Insights Director, you will be responsible for analysing and providing data and insights for the broader sales team You will be part of a team that is dynamic and passionate with a total commitment to providing our clients with the most innovative advertising solutions.

The role is varied, and you will be working across VMO’s advertising platforms across Retail, Petrol Stations and Health Clubs. If you have ever wanted to work in advertising or consumer behaviour this unique job opportunity will give you exposure to both plus access to the other departments across the business.

Key responsibilities include:
• Working closely with the national VMO sales team and assisting them with the research component of brief responses.
• Working alongside the Val Morgan Marketing team to deliver insights that will be used in go-to-market collateral.
• Research analysis using Roy Morgan, Helix, Nielsen, Amobee and other 3rd party research tools
• Creating insights and visually representing findings from the research data
• Using DART (VMO Audience measurement tool) to understand behaviour and their engagement towards our clients creative/campaigns.
• Brainstorming and collaborating on idea generations for new integrated briefs
• General administration and ad-hoc duties

Who are we looking for?

What we ask from you is to be a high performer and creative thinker. You are incredibly focused and have a passion for the industry. We are also ideally looking for someone with:

• Degree in Marketing, consumer behaviour or psychology and proficiency in statistics desirable
• Research, media agency or relevant field experience regarded highly
• Competent in software programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Roy Morgan
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects
• Passionate self-starter with the ability to work without supervision and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
