Magnum & Co bolsters influencer marketing offering with head of influencer marketing appointment

Public relations agency Magnum & Co has bolstered its influencer marketing offering with the appointment of Switched On Media’s Simone Bevan as head of influencer marketing.

Bevan was with Switched On Media for nearly three years, joining the agency in June 2014 as influencer marketing manager before being promoted in May 2015 to head of influencer marketing.

Bevan previously worked at Switched on Media as an influencer marketing manager for one year, before becoming head of influencer marketing.

Prior to this Bevan worked in the UK as a PR, marketing and sales manager at events company Yes for nearly a year-and-a-half year, working with clients including NARS, L’Oreal group, Estee Lauder Group and Citroen.

Katie Barclay, Magnum & Co managing partner, said: “Influencer marketing is such an important element of any integrated campaign and we’ve seen new and existing clients take this channel more seriously.

“With Simone’s expertise we’re showing we’re not just content to play around the edges, but we want to lead in the influencer marketing space.”

Bevan said: “It’s a fresh challenge for me coming to Magnum & Co. My background in digital and influencer marketing, when married with Magnum & Co’s desire to do work with true impact, bodes really well.”

Bevan will work with accounts such as Weight Watchers and JBL.
