In order to ensure that as many people can experience Mumbrella360 as possible in a COVID-safe manner, Mumbrella360: Reimagined will be split across three venues in Sydney’s CBD. Delegates will choose a venue to attend based on their interests. Each venue will play host to a specific topic tailored for specific areas of the industry. The venues will cover creativity, media and ideas & innovation. The Hilton Hotel, historically the location for Mumbrella360, will also play host to a special Masterclass stream which will be live streamed to the other two locations.

Lisa Ronson

Chief Marketing Officer, Coles

Lisa is an award-winning marketing executive with over 20 years of experience across multiple Australian and international brands. She has a track record of building strong consumer brands, leading high-performing teams and growing retail sales and market share.

Lisa joined Coles Group in May 2019. As Chief Marketing Officer, Lisa is responsible for leading the organisations marketing brand and media strategies, sponsorships and events, customer insights and analytics, and in store promotion.
Prior to joining Coles, Lisa worked across several brands and sectors including Carlton & United Breweries, Visa International, Telstra, David Jones, Westpac Group and Tourism Australia.

Lisa was recognised as the number one Chief Marketing Officer in Australia, winning both the 2018 Marketer of the Year award from the Australian Marketing Institute and also being named as the No. 1 CMO in the 2018 CMO50 Awards from CMO Magazine Australia. Lisa and her team also won Marketing team of the Year, Campaign of the Year, best PR and social campaigns of the year and ten Cannes Lions in 2018. Most recently Lisa won the Marketing award at B&T's Women in Media awards, recognising her as a trusted leader not only from her direct colleagues but the wider marketing and media industries.

Lisa is an active member of the Australian Marketing Industry, including writing regularly for the AFR, is an AANA (Australian Association of National Advertisers) Board Member and an Australian Advertising Standards Board Member. Lisa also takes part in several mentoring programs.

Lisa holds a Graduate Diploma in Management with Honors in Marketing from the Macquarie School of Management (MGSM) and bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Western Sydney. Lisa is also studying an MBA at MGSM.

Peter Sloterdyk

Chief Marketing & Technology Officer, Koala

Peter Sloterdyk is an experienced marketer and technology leader with a penchant for building teams and taking companies from start up to growth company and beyond. He joined Koala in March of 2020 as their first Global Chief Marketing Officer with oversight of the marketing, data and analytics, and technology teams. At Koala, Sloterdyk is responsible for brand marketing and sales, communications, technology and digital development, consumer and product insights, and data and analytics. Prior to joining Koala, he led original series marketing for Netflix in a broad global and strategic role. Peter got his start working with agencies such as Digitas, Deep Focus, and MXM (An Accenture Company) before transitioning to the brand side as the CMO of the queer social networking app Grindr, leading marketing, analytics, acquisition, and content development. Peter was born and grew up in Des Moines, IA and has lived in Chicago and Los Angeles in the United States. He is currently planning his move to live in Sydney, Australia with his interior designer husband and their two dogs.

Michelle Hutton is the CEO of Edelman Australia and the Vice Chair of Edelman Asia Pacific, leading the agency’s integrated solutions business.Returning to Australia in 2019, Michelle has taken on this dual role having previously held global leadership positions for Edelman while based in London as Managing Director,Global Client Strategy, COO of Europe and Chair of the agency's global brand business.Michelle was the global President of the PR Jury at the 2019 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. She has served on other global creative and effectiveness juries including eurobest and the Effies and PR Award shows in Australia, Asia and EMEA.A mum with two kids, Michelle is an active member of Edelman’s Global Women in Leadership program, was a founding Board Member of the Global Women in PR network and was previously a Board Director of The Communications Council in Australia serving on its Diversity and Inclusion Committee. As Tourism Australia’s Chief Marketing Officer, Susan is responsible for driving the organisation’s global marketing strategy, ensuring that Australia’s tourism marketing efforts continue to cut through in the competitive international marketplace.Having joined Tourism Australia in 2017, Susan lead the creative development for campaigns such as Dundee and Undiscover Australia. Susan was promoted to the role of Chief Marketing Officer in May 2019 to lead the Global Marketing team in creating and developing brand assets for innovative campaigns such as Matesongwith Kylie Minogue and the domestic Holiday Here This Year campaign.

Carmen is a KPMG Partner specialising in Customer Experience, Marketing & SalesTransformation and Brand. Carmen leads the KPMG CMO Advisory providing marketing departments with guidance across key marketing deliverables; strategy; operations; technology; growth; procurement and product. She is the KPMG ASPAC Customer lead helping cross border clients manage their customer needs from operations to transformation. Based in London for over 15 years, she has developed transformational strategy and campaigns for global businesses such as Procter & Gamble, Toyota, Visa, Unilever, Nestle, Avon, Coty and Qatar Airways. Carmen is a volunteer Board Director for The Bread and Butter Project, Australia’s first social enterprise bakery.

Lauren Quaintance

Managing Director, Storyation

Lauren Quaintance is Managing Director of award-winning agency Storyation.

She was a co-founder of the specialist content marketing agency which counts Microsoft, IAG and Destination NSW among its clients.

Storyation was a named as a Financial Review ‘Fast Starter’ and a Smart Company’s ‘Smart 50’ and was acquired by Medium Rare, an associated business of News Corp in 2019.

Lauren was named Enterpreneur of the Year at the 2018 B&T Women in Media Awards and has been named one of the top 15 women in the world in content marketing by the editor of the US Chief Content Officer magazine.

Previously General Manager of Travel for Fairfax Media in Australia (now Nine Entertainment Co.) and Managing Editor of Fairfax Magazines she has extensive experience in digital content strategy.

In her early career as a journalist Lauren worked as a reporter for The Sunday Times in London, covered the September 11 attacks in New York for print and broadcast media. She was awarded a New York Foreign Press Associaion Scholarship for her coverage of the attacks.

Born in New Zealand, Lauren was named Feature Writer of the year there twice and won more than two dozen awards for everything from investigative journalism to travel writing.

She obtained a Master’s of Science from Columbia University in New York on a Fulbright Harkness Fellowship, and was awarded a David Low Fellowship to Oxford University in 1999 to research the impact of the internet on journalism.

She speaks about content marketing at events in the US, Australia and Asia.

Leif is a veteran of the strategic side of communications planning, having spent over 20 years in the discipline. After graduating from the University of Natal in South Africa with a Masters Degree in Commerce, Leif worked at Ogilvy & Mather and TBWA before moving to DDB Sydney at the end of 1999. During his 18 years at DDB, Leif has worked across a variety of clients including McDonald’s, Tourism Australia, Westpac and Volkswagen. He lives on the beach in Sydney with his wife and two teenage daughters and most mornings can be found dodging the Manly ferry on his surfski.

Tim has worked in digital marketing and advertising since 2007, and is currently the Strategy Director at Connecting Plots. An advertising strategist and digital marketer, Tim aims to take traditional knowledge of effective advertising and apply it into new digital channels, navigating innovation with pragmatic eye on results. He’s worked with clients such Boost Mobile, Billabong, Emirates, NRL, UNIQLO, Commonwealth Bank, NSW Government, Tourism Australia, Pernod Ricard, Fantastic Furniture, Hyundai, Menulog, Nestle & Coca-Cola on both agency and client side.
