Peter Sloterdyk

Former Chief Marketing & Technology Officer, Koala

Peter Sloterdyk is a global business and marketing executive who has served in chief roles at companies such as Koala, Netflix, Grindr, and global advertising agencies. He is a skilled leader across strategy and execution leading product, operations, client success, brand, marketing, communications, data, analytics, digital and creative teams. As an experienced marketing leader with a penchant for building motivated and high performing teams, Peter has led companies from start-up to growth and beyond. Most recently, he was the Global Chief Marketing and Technology Officer at Koala, leading the marketing and technology teams. He was also the Head of Original Series Marketing for Netflix, leading their series marketing strategy, creative development, media planning and buying, overall deals and talent relations.

Peter began his career working with agencies such as Digitas, Deep Focus, and MXM (an Accenture Company) before transitioning to the brand side as the Chief Marketing Officer of the queer social networking app Grindr. There, he led marketing, analytics, communications, acquisition, editorial and content development. Peter lives in Colorado with his husband and their three dogs.
