The War You Didn’t Even Know You Were a Part Of

Welcome to Best of the Week, this time around largely concocted in my head in bed as I put off the crushing reality that if I want it to get from my brain to your inbox, I’m going to have to actually get up and smash some keys. 

I wouldn’t go so far as to call it self-sabotage, but I would say it’s a bizarre quirk of the human condition to continually put something off with the blind faith that if the deadline gets close enough, surely you will just get down and do it.
