Award Case Study: The General Store

This was the closest fought category at the 2019 Mumbrella Awards, with the jury ultimately awarding the top nod to The General Store. Demonstrating focus, practical truths about the struggles of making it all work and the bravery they showed in their work, The General Store emerged victorious. This is The General Store’s entry below, along with the judging criteria utilised to award it Specialist Agency of the Year.

We were appointed by freedom (furniture) as their lead strategy and creative agency in June 2018 after winning the business from DDB without a pitch. On the appointment, Jason Piggott – GM of Marketing said, “The General Store have established themselves as the leaders in strategy, insight and creative firepower for retailers.”
