Relationships Australia NSW appoints Horizon Communication Group to media relations
Horizon Communication Group has been appointed to manage the media relations for Relationships Australia’s NSW division.
Liz McLaughlin, founder of Horizon Communication Group, said maintaining healthy relationships with loved ones has become more important in this time of isolation.
“With COVID-19 dominating our lives, it is more important than ever to maintain healthy, functioning relationships with our loved ones and colleagues,” McLaughlin said.
“We hope that the work we carry out with Relationships Australia, NSW will reassure Australians that there is support out there, no matter what your personal circumstances might be, to help navigate the challenges presented by these uncertain times.”
Horizon will be working with Relationships Australia’s in-house team to generate content and media coverage to assist families at this time, the company said.
The content will address the added pressure that has arisen from every household member working from home. This has included a Family Continuity Plan that can help families manage pressures and prevent problems from arising.
Last month, Horizon Communication Group capitalised on its work with environmental clients to expand its sustainability-focused business unit.
Relationships Australia began under the name Marriage Guidance Council. The group says it has no religious affiliations, and simply wants to “support all people in Australia to achieve positive and respectful relationships”.
