TEG appoints iProspect as media agency after eight-year run with Zenith
Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) has appointed iProspect as its media agency of record, ending an eight-year relationship with Zenith Sydney.
The decision follows a three-month competitive pitch, with the Dentsu-owned agency set to lead TEG’s media strategy and planning across its portfolio of businesses, including TEG Live, TEG Sport, TEG Experiences and SXSW Sydney.
Zenith was first appointed to handle media for TEG Live in 2017, covering the company’s tours and exhibitions division. It is unclear whether the remit expanded in the years since.
iProspect national managing director Marcelle Hoyek said the agency was “thrilled to be able to bring our performance mindset to the table and help accelerate the next phase of their business evolution.”
The agency will work alongside Ovation Amp, TEG’s newly launched in-house agency, which the company describes as a “full-service, data-led creative agency that unites expertise across media, digital, strategy, and storytelling within TEG.”
Ovation Amp was formed following TEG’s acquisition of the entertainment marketing arm of Twenty3 Sport + Entertainment, bringing the group’s marketing capabilities “under one roof.”
Larissa Best, TEG’s GM of live entertainment marketing and head of Ovation Amp, praised iProspect’s collaborative approach.
“Above all, we value good humans who are easy to work with and willing to act as a true extension of our own team, and iProspect demonstrated true collaboration and thought leadership at every stage of the process,” she said.
