The Urban List launches chat-bot led scavenger hunt for Jaguar

Millennial publisher The Urban List will run a scavenger hunt in Sydney and Melbourne this weekend, as part of a new partnership with Jaguar.

The Jaguar E-Pace City Secrets Scavenger Hunt will take place this Saturday, and will see competitors across Sydney and Melbourne led to various locations by a Jaguar-branded chat bot.

Mindshare and Hogarth Worldwide designed and developed the messenger technology which will lead consumers to locations with design masterclasses, restaurants and underground bars.

Of 4000 entries, 300 participants will be selected to take part on April 14.

The winner will receive a weekend of accommodation and meals in the respective city, as well as access to a new Jaguar E-Pace for the weekend.

Sophia Wilcox, head of studio at The Urban List, described the campaign as “one of the top experiential activations” of the year.

“Curating the ultimate scavenger hunt for 300 of our readers across Sydney and Melbourne, the partnership leverages The Urban Lists’ cultural influence and pairs it with the sophistication and class of the Jaguar E-Pace, helping to inject the exciting new vehicle into Australian millennial culture,” Wilcox said.

A spokesperson for Jaguar Land Rover, said the brand needed a way to differentiate itself with a new young generation.

“The partnership with Mindshare and The Urban List offered us a unique and compelling way to do this, through tailored experiences which speak to millennials,” the spokesperson said.
