Uber celebrates diversity of drivers and passengers in TV ad
Ride-sharing service Uber has launched new television ads highlighting its 3.1 million different Australian passengers and drivers.
The 30-second commercial begins with a woman looking at her Uber app.
The woman then gets in the car drinking a bottle of water as many different drivers appear in the driver’s seat.
Different men and women then appear in the passenger seat drinking the water, as a diverse range of passengers also begin to fill the back seats.
A same-sex couple, mother and son, friends and families occupy the back seats.
Uber pitched its creative account in April this year appointing The Special Group as its creative agency of record in May.
I absolutely love your new ad, I’ve been a David Bowie fan since 1973. I was devastated last year when he died!? I drive for uber and I love it you chose a Bowie song for your ad, good on you uber.
