Volkswagen uses technology to resolve argument between couple in ‘more than just a car’ ad
Volkswagen has promoted its ‘App Connect’ in car entertainment system’s capabilities by using technology to resolve an argument between a couple in its latest campaign.
Created by DDB Sydney, the 30 second commercial features a woman picking her partner up from a night out with his friends as she gives him the silent treatment.
The couple manage to resolve the argument by getting the car to read out a text message which says “Nick loves you very much and is very sorry, you should forgive Nick, heart with stars”.
‘More than a car’ is the tagline used at the conclusion of the ad.
The ad is designed to promote Volkswagen’s Golf and its ability to use App Connect and Apple CarPlay.
Mumbrella understands there are two more ads in the series which are yet to be released.
