WSFM content director Scott Muller exits ARN

Australian Radio Network (ARN) has lost another staffer with WSFM content director Scott Muller exiting the business.

The radio business issued a statement confirming Muller’s contract has come to an end and he will leave the role. Muller had been in the position since January 2018.

Muller has left ARN after just under two years

Muller’s role will be replaced and he is not a part of the ARN redundancies which were revealed yesterday.

“Scott Muller’s fixed-term contract as WSFM’s Content Director has come to an end and he will leave the business. ARN thank Scott for his contribution to the station and for his achievements over the past two years. We’ll share more details about the WSFM content team in the coming weeks,” said a spokesperson.

Muller replaced long-term director Charlie Fox who had been with the station for over a decade.

Muller joined from MBOS Consulting Group and had previously worked at Nova, RadioToday and Capital Radio London.

ARN has said the new appointment could take weeks.

Muller’s exit follows on from the announced changes to Brisbane’s 97.3 FM breakfast program, with Bianca Dye and Mike Van Acker departing the business. The show’s executive producer Liam Renton will also leave. Four additional roles were made redundant across the ARN business.
