Katie Horbury
I have been working in TV in London for the past 2 years; mostly at ITV where I have progressed to researcher, mostly in Entertainment. I believe that a lot of the programmes I have worked on are either broadcast here too, or have an Australian version, such as The X Factor (Australian Idol), Britain’s Got Talent, Big Brother and Hells Kitchen. So hopefully you can get a good understanding of the kind of experience and skills that I have. I also worked as a Location Assistant on ‘Aussie Ladette to Lady’ which we filmed in England and I believe was a great success in both Australia and the UK.
I am most passionate about working on Entertainment/studio shows and have a lot of experience liaising with celebrities, directors and studio crews. One of the highlights of my career so far was being given the opportunity to take on assistant floor manager and some acting floor manager roles for rehearsals at ITV.
