Koren Helbig

I’m an Australian freelance journalist with 10 years’ experience, including two as state political reporter for The Courier-Mail in Brisbane.

My freelance work has appeared in magazines and publications worldwide, including frankie, QWeekend, New Internationalist, Narratively, El País, Woman’s Day, Kill Your Darlings, The Lifted Brow, GlobalPost, the Adelaide Review, The Courier-Mail, Big Issue Australia and Junkee.

I’m currently based in Spain and travel regularly across Europe as well as back to Australia.
