Ethics in Tech

Technology is advancing at ever increasing rates: self-driving cars, artificial intelligence and virtual reality are pushing the boundaries of many comfort zones. But who is policing the development of technology or its rate of progression? Should we be slowing advancements to take ethical concerns into consideration or is a test and iterative approach best? Should there be watchdogs for ethics in tech, and if so, who should they be?
