Pitch X – Ladies Night! ( Melbourne)

Oh yes it’s ladies night and the feeling’s right….

We’d like to present to you – Pitch X! Ladies edition!

Men are more than welcome to come and support, but only ladies will be pitching on this evening!

Again we’re going to be teaming up with some of Melbourne’s best startups, and start-up founders to help you grow your pitching skills and to help grow the Melbourne Startup community.

This is a friendly, fun, pitching competition, providing attendees with an opportunity to practice and refine their pitch and progress their startup’s message. We encourage all ladies to do a 1-minute pitch; it’s a great way to speak and connect with the startup community. In the pitch, you’ll answer key questions: what problem are you tackling? What is the solution you’re creating?

It doesn’t matter what you’re pitching for:

-Pitch for a co-founder
-Pitch for support
-Pitch for resources
-Pitch for funding

So come on down and pitch in and pitch us!

Format
You can pitch in any way, but you may want to try to include which of the following is relevant to you;

Intro yourself and/or your team
Problem
Solution
Stage or traction
What do you need? Support, funding, resources etc
Anything else you want to include
The Night
Anyone can put their hand up to pitch on the night. The first round will consist of 1-minute pitches. Our Judges will choose the top pitches to progress to the 2nd round.

Finalists in this round will make a final pitch to win the night. For this second round, you will have up to 5 minutes to pitch.
