http://www.aftrs.edu.au/short-courses/video-marketing-writing-scripts-and-briefs/5903

Improve your script and brief writing skills for corporate videos, digital marketing, social video or client/customer information videos in this two day, hands-on practical course, where you’ll learn “The Twelve Commandments” of how to write a great short video brief and script, and get some hands-on practice flexing your creative muscles.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You will learn from an industry expert how to:

craft a powerful video story, which is really a message that will connect your customers with your brand in a meaningful way

brief your ideas so that your creative vision comes to life

create a hook from the first frame and produce a compelling call to action

make stylistic and genre choices

write video scripts that create a visual ‘storyworld’ and use engaging, clear language

how to get the best results even if you have a dry message or a small budget.

This is a very practical workshop and will be very useful for anyone who creates or commissions video. Even if you’re not writing scripts as part of your job, you will learn how to identify a good from bad script and make sure the vision you’ve outlined in your brief is realised.
