We’re back with a mission to help connect, motivate and grow Startups!

Academy Xi is teaming up with TwoSpace and StartCon and some amazing judges to grow opportunities for the Startup community.

It has been a while since we ran our ‘Pitch for a Co-founder’ event. This year, we’re bringing it back with a twist!

Introducing Pitch X: we’re opening this up to all people interested in pitching.

This is a friendly, fun, pitching competition, providing attendees with an opportunity to practice and refine their pitch and progress their startups’ message. We encourage everyone to do a 1-minute pitch; it’s a great way to speak and connect with the startup community. In the pitch, you’ll answer key questions: what problem are you tackling? What is the solution you’re creating?

It doesn’t matter what you’re pitching for:

-Pitch for a co-founder
-Pitch for support
-Pitch for resources
-Pitch for funding

Format
You can pitch in any way, but you may want to try include which of the following is relevant to you;

Intro yourself and/or your team
Problem
Solution
Stage or traction
What do you need? Support, funding, resources etc
Anything else you want to include
The Night
Anyone can put their hand up to pitch on the night. The first round will consist of 1-minute pitches. Our Judges will choose the top 3 pitches to progress to the 2nd round.

For the second round, you will have (5) minutes to pitch. The judges will then pick the best of round 2 to win!

Finalists will make a final pitch to win the night. Stay tuned: We’re lining up some awesome prizes!
