Social media is constantly changing and how businesses and marketers leverage these platforms will continue to evolve.

In November we shine the spotlight on social media and dissect the latest changes to this channel and what they mean to marketers.

At this event, our speakers will discuss what innovative social media techniques they use to launch brands, increase reach and engagement and drive sales.

Our speakers will cover:

All the latest B2B and B2C social content trends – including strategy, distribution and measurements
Best practice methods to get your social creative to cut through the noise
Influencer marketing regulations and opportunities for growth

Simon Jackson, Senior Social Creative, Coca-Cola South Pacific

Simon loves words, ideas and nachos. After working as a copywriter for some of Sydney’s leading ad agencies, he has now carved out a niche as a social creative specialist with One Green Bean // Coca-Cola South Pacific.

Since starting as the lead social creative at Coca-Cola, their reactive content has been picked up by the likes AdNews and Mumbrella and Fanta was nominated for Best Social Media Campaign at the 2019 CommsCon awards.

Katherine Chalhoub, Head of Social, Web Profits

In an industry that never sleeps, Kath finds dreaming in between the lines her favourite pastime.

Curiosity, innovation and a keen passion for the limitless potential of Creative Marketing, is key to ideating and executing strategies that leverage relevant digital platforms in unique and progressive ways. Kath is a lateral thinker bringing concepts and ideas to life via blended digital campaigns.

Embracing the latest trends in design, video and digital marketing, she leads a team of eclectic individuals with a serious passion for developing and sharing compelling brand stories. The aim? To develop campaign work that resonates with mass reach and evokes human connection on a scale that transcends the scope of the status quo.

Kath will be unpacking and exploring social media predictions and trends for 2020 and beyond.

Sammy Major, AU Sales Director, TRIBE

Sammy Major is the AU Sales Director at TRIBE, who are transforming the way brands can connect with leading influential content creators to create powerful 1:1 marketing campaigns. Sammy is a proven and experienced digital sales leader who joined TRIBE in 2018 following a progressive career at some of Australia’s most innovative tech and media companies.

Most recently, Sammy held the position of Commercial Director at HuffPost Australia and Group Sales Manager at REA Group, where she was a two-time winner of the annual Sales Incentive Program rewarding the top 1% of sales excellence globally, as well as the winner of B&T’s 30 under 30 Award in the Media division in 2016. Sammy is deeply passionate about understanding client needs, surpassing expectations, leadership and building high performing teams.

Sammy will be delivering her insights into the world of influencer marketing after the likes counter has been removed, and discussing whether this change was merely a signal for regulation or more of a sign of the explosive growth that is about to come for this industry?
