In February of 2020, one of Australia’s former heavyweight advertising executives stepped back into the business. Ben Lilley, former chairman and CEO of McCann Australia made the surprise move to acquire the agency he used to run, which had itself acquired his own agency just years earlier. He had previously announced his retirement in 2018 to relocate to France with his family.
