10 ViacomCBS officially changes name to Paramount ANZ

10 ViacomCBS has officially changed its corporate name to Paramount ANZ, effective immediately.

The news was shared via the broadcast company’s LinkedIn page, in which it showed the Paramount logo along with the comment: “New name: Who dis? Introducing Paramount ANZ.”

Mumbrella understands that all senior executives titles in Australia and New Zealand will now be changed to Paramount ANZ, but has reached out to the network for more information.

The local news comes a week after ViacomCBS in the US officially changed its corporate name to Paramount Global, or more simply, Paramount.

The news was announced by ViacomCBS chair Shari Redstone and president-CEO Bob Bakish in a memo to staffers.

The new Paramount name helps reflect brands including Paramount Pictures, Paramount Television Studios, Paramount Network and Showtime.

In the announcement to staffers below, it stated, “this is an exciting moment in the history of our company. Our streaming business is growing fast—and going global.”

We could not be prouder of this incredible company.

It has been one year since the spectacular launch of Paramount+ and two years since the successful merger of Viacom and CBS. In that time, we have shown the world what we knew from the start: that together, aligned around a shared vision and shared strategy, we create a whole that is far greater than the sum of its parts.
