1116 SEN announces new breakfast radio host
Radio station 1116 SEN has announced Emily Angwin as its new breakfast newsreader.

Seven News reporter, Emily Angwin, is the newest member of 1116 SEN, joining the Garry, Tim and Hamish team as breakfast newsreader.
Emily read her first bulletin this morning, delivering all of the latest national and international news to 1116 SEN listeners.
Prior to commencing her role as a reporter and presenter for Seven News, Emily worked in the newsroom at 1116 SEN and former sister station, MTR.
Emily is loving being back behind the microphone.
“Radio is where my media career began and it holds a special place in my heart,” said Angwin.
“With my passion for news and sport it felt like the right fit and I am thrilled to be back at 1116 SEN.”
General Manager of 1116 SEN, Cathy Thomas, says Emily strengthens 1116 SEN’s position as a one-stop shop for information and entertainment.
“Sam McClure’s The McClure Report already provides listeners with the latest breaking news in the world of sport and the appointment of Emily as a dedicated newsreader will see all facets of Melbourne news covered for 1116 SEN listeners,” said Thomas.
“Having worked at Seven News for almost six years, Emily already has a fantastic relationship with Garry, Hamish, Tim and Sam and the team have welcomed her into the fold.”
In conjunction with her role at 1116 SEN, Emily will continue her duties as reporter and presenter for Seven News.
