GOA gives public say with digital billboard
Brisbane outdoor company GOA Billboards has invited the public to post their election messages on a digital display.
GOA is asking the public to visit its website and submit the messages they want to give to politicians. Those that are accepted will then be displayed on the billboard in Bowen Hills with a new message going up each hour.
GOA’s creative director Josh Feros said: “We want people to be frank about their feelings regarding the forthcoming election.”
Don’t want to be cynical (actually, yeah, I do), but who’s filtering the messages?

Hi foobar —
goa billboards is filtering the messages (for offensive comments more than anything), but the campaign is being run independent of any political party, and every effort is being made to ensure the messages chosen are balanced to reflect any and all political persuasions.
Cheers
