3D World Launches in Victoria and Queensland

Sydney clubbing magazine 3D World will expand into the Victorian and Queensland markets.    This follows a re-design. The announcement:

On Wednesday 11 August, Street Press Australia (SPA) will launch Victorian and Queensland editions of iconic Sydney clubbing weekly 3D World. For two decades 3D World has been considered Sydney’s clubbing lifestyle bible – now that holy word is reaching out across the east coast.

Recently re-imaged in June, 3D World hit the streets in a new glossy format. The brave new 3D World also extended its reach beyond the club world and into the realms of arts, technology and travel.

The magazine’s Lure section also introduced a renewed focus on fashion and lifestyle.

3D World will continue to trade in its up-to-the-second cultural currency via a stable of local state-based contributors who swear to spend their every-waking hour trawling the streets, social network sites, red carpets, clubs and bars of Melbourne and Brisbane.

3D World editor Kris Swales says, “The introduction of Victorian and Queensland versions of the magazine means readers in those states will finally get the high quality, broad focus standalone dance music and hip hop publication they’ve been demanding for so long.”

SPA Managing Director Craig Treweek states, “The expansion of 3D World into new states illustrates the current strength of free magazine titles in Australia which buck the trend of general magazine/newspaper circulation. The recent broadening in content to lifestyle/fashion/travel and current affairs makes 3D World the east coast’s premier music/youth lifestyle title.”
