Alt/Shift launches events and activation agency Light Year Productions
Public relations agency Alt/Shift has launched its new events and activation agency Light Year Productions.
Light Year Productions will partner with sister agency ALT/SHIFT to offer both new and existing clients content production, experiential and social media.
Matt Flinn, formerly the director of Social Lion for almost three years, will lead the operation as general manager.
Flinn said in a statement: “We exist for one purpose: to take brands places they’ve never been before. Our team think creatively and work with a meticulous eye to create consumer experiences that are more than memorable – they’re perception changing.
“The word integration gets thrown around a bit, but we’re in the unique position where we’re working hand-in-hand with PR and social media experts every day to deliver a one-stop solution for our clients,” he said.
Elly Hewitt, managing director of Alt/Shift and Light Year Productions, said working in the experiential marketing space has been an expansion goal for the public relations agency since the start.
The new agency aims to focus on social and environmental responsibility making all events carbon neutral and fundraising for Marriage Equality Australia.
