Your Charity Could Win a Share of $1M Worth of Media Space

Queensland outdoor media provider goa are once again welcoming applications from community organizations far and wide looking to share their message with South East Queensland via THE goa GRID and THE ICONIC SERIES, Australia’s most advanced digital billboard network.

Each year, goa chooses a number of community organizations through their Community Partnership Program to partner with and share in a whopping $1million worth of free media space. The program is an opportunity for community organizations to think creatively to execute a campaign that engages with an audience of over 500,000 people in South East Queensland every day.

goa’s CEO and Joint Managing Director, Chris Tyquin, said that “Our Community Partnership Program has launched many innovative and engaging campaigns over the years which have generated incredible results for our partners. Some of the best creative concepts have developed from very simple ideas and have taken on a life of their own through the use of THE goa GRID and THE ICONIC SERIES.”

To participate, applicants are asked to answer a creative brief available on their website. Applicants are asked to think creatively to align their campaign with their business objectives and drive engagement with their cause in this world of hashtags, clicks, and swipes.

Michelle La Pla, Spokesperson for Anglicare Queensland and 2017 community partner, said that “the Anglicare Arts&Minds Initiative was able to come to life with the help of the goa Community Partnership Program. It was a brilliant, innovative project to be a part of and became a fun way to start a conversation about a serious topic in our community – mental health.”

Anglicare’s Arts&Minds campaign included the World’s first live art auction run solely on digital billboards and reached over 4,400,000 impressions with their campaign, most of which were within their younger target demographic – and they weren’t the only partner to see significant results from the goa partnership.

The Great Barrier Reef Foundation, another 2017 partner, embarked on a mission to harness the power of everyday citizens to look after our Reef. Cassandra Erbs, Director of Marketing and Business Development of the Foundation, said “the partnership with GOA has enabled a level of engagement we never thought possible. Their commitment and passion in helping us find a way to get more people involved in looking after our Reef was evident in every part of the campaign.”

To submit an application for the 2018 Community Partnership Program or for further information head to the goa website at goa.com.au. All community organizations, big or small, are encouraged to put their name forward for this incredible chance at a community partnership in 2018.
