7-Eleven prepares for Formula 1 weekend with petrol station pit crew

A Formula 1 pitstop crew has taken over 7-Eleven in its new TVC and out-of-home (OOH) campaign, celebrating its partnership with the Oracle Red Bull Racing team ahead of this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix.

The spot sees an unsuspecting driver pull up to a 7-Eleven, before receiving a quick tire change, windscreen wash, and refuel by the pit crew.

“Alongside our fuel partner Mobil, we are proud to partner with Oracle Red Bull Racing,” said Angus McKay, CEO and MD at 7-Eleven.

The campaign kicks off a weekend of racing action at the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2024, which has seen a record number of contributing commercial partners and major package sponsors for Network 10’s coverage.

Some lucky locals in Melbourne’s St Kilda were treated to the thrill of a Formula 1 pitstop experience, as well as Melbourne FC captain Christian Petracca, radio host Brendan Fevola and influencer Brooke Warne.

“The campaign in market and the customer activation was a great way to kick of an exciting week of motorsport action,” McKay continued.

“At 7-Eleven, we love to deliver a simple and speedy experience that delights our customers, and what better way to do that than by bringing the fast-paced racing experience to our store alongside our partnership Mobil and Oracle Red Bull Racing.”

7-Eleven is a headlining partner of the sport’s coverage this weekend, alongside Harvey Norman, Salesforce, Shannons, Subway and more.
