72andSunny ECD Justine Armour moves to New York leadership team

72andSunny’s executive creative director Justine Armour is set to move to New York to form part of 72andSunny’s New York leadership team.

The announcement:

Jessica Monsey and Justine Armour will join the current 72andSunny New York leadership team comprised of Executive Creative Director and Partner, Bryan Rowles, Executive Strategy Director, Tim Jones and Director of Production, Lora Schulson. Current Managing Director and Partner, James Townsend, will remain in the New York office and transition into a global role. Jessica will join the team this April and Justine will move into her new role effective immediately.

Originally from Sydney, Justine joined 72andSunny New York in October 2016 as a Group Creative Director, leading the General Mills (Yoplait, Oui, Cheerios, Nature Valley) and Seventh Generation accounts. Prior to joining the team, she was at Wieden + Kennedy Portland for five years in the role as creative director working on the rebrand of Secret deodorant and other accounts including: Chrysler, Dodge, Herbal Essences, and Old Spice.

“Getting the chance to lead a company you love, with partners you love and respect, is a huge honor,” said Justine. “I’m so full of excitement and ambition for this year. Between this magical office, the great work I’m seeing, and the talent we’re adding to the team, it feels like we’re set up for greatness.”

A native New Yorker, Jessica returns to the city after having spent 12 years at Wieden + Kennedy Portland where she most recently was Director of Client Services and credited as a key driver of success on both Old Spice and KFC.

“I’ve been watching 72andSunny from afar for years with a great deal of respect and curiosity,” said Jessica. “I love that embracing change and exploring new opportunities and ways of working are inherent to 72andSunny, and I’m thrilled to have the chance to shape the future with them.”
