Lego Masters finale tops entertainment as Nine takes Monday

Lego Masters finale when the winner was announced on Nine topped entertainment on Monday, as the network celebrated an overall network share win.

The episode aired to a metro audience of 669,000 metro viewers, while the last 15 minutes of the show where the winner was announced had a 702,000 metro viewers tuning in. 

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 9 May, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.708 million viewers, including 40,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 2%.

The program with the biggest uplift for the week at 43%% was the Big Brother launch episode on Seven  with a Total TV audience of 976,000, and a BVOD audience of 190,000.

Looking back at Monday’s ratings, next in entertainment was Have You Been Paying Attention? On Ten which aired to an average metro audience of 684,000 viewers. The program also won all three key advertising demos.

Ten’s MasterChef was next, airing to a metro audience of 504,000, followed by an episode of Home and Away on Seven with 500,000 metro viewers.

The Chase Australian on Seven  was next, pulling in a metro audience of 550,000, while MasterChef on Ten aired to 535,000 metro viewers..

In overall TV viewing, Seven News was the #1 metro program on Monday, airing to 988,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine News with 934,000 metro viewers, while Nine News at 6:30 had 931,000 metro viewers, and Seven News at 6:30 brought in 925,000 metro viewers. A Current Affair had 736,000, ABC News pulled in 639,000, and ABC’s 7:30 News had 559,000 metro viewers.

Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 29.1% over Seven’s 25%, while Ten took a 20.6% share and the ABC had 18%.

Nine also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Monday was 7TWO 4%.
