ABC TV has announced four executive appointments, including Justin Holdforth as head of sport and events, and Debbie Lee as head of comedy.
Former programmer for ABC 2 Natalie Edgar will be deputy controller for the public broadcaster, working across ABC1, ABC2 and ABC News24. Finally, Arul Baskaran has been appointed controller of the new multiplatform production department, and will be responsible for internet broadcasting, convergent production, development of new services, tools and applications, and creation of websites and social communities around ABC TV content on the Internet, hand-held devices and emerging platforms.
