The ABC and Nine have revealed some of their highlights for the 2011 TV year.

Among the ABC’s drama offerings will be a two part telemovie series telling the story of the early days of ACP.

The drama has the working title of Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo and features Asher Keddie and Rob Carlton as Ita Buttrose and Kerry Packer.

Other drama offerings from the ABC include an ambitions 22 part legal drama, Crownies and an adaptation off novel The Slap.

Meanwhile, Spicks & Specks presenter Adam Hills will get his own chat show, In Gordon Street Tonight.

The ABC also today announced the launch if its iPad app for catch-up TV service iView.

Meanwhile, Nine is continuing to extend the Underbelly franchise, with Underbelly Razor set in 1920s Sydney and featuring the vice queens Tilly Devine and Kate Leigh.

Yesterday saw it pitch its offerings for 2011 to the Sydney market at an event hosted by Ben Elton.

The network also revealed a new commission from Zapruders Other Films. TV-focused The Joy of Sets will feature Tony Martin and Ed Kavalee. According to Nine, it “will take you to parts of the television universe you never knew existed.” Kavalee also hosted Seven’s short-lived weekly television roundup TV Burp.
